Scaffolding Supervisor -Job Description

A Midmac Contracting Company W.L.L. Scaffolding Supervisor is responsible for supervising scaffold erection, inspection, safety compliance, and dismantling activities at construction sites.

Typical duties include:

Supervising scaffolders and work crews

Ensuring scaffolding follows safety standards and project requirements

Inspecting scaffolds before use

Coordinating with site engineers, safety officers, and project managers

Preparing work permits and safety documentation

Monitoring material usage and scaffold inventory

Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings

Ensuring compliance with Qatar construction and HSE regulations

Common Requirements

5-10+ years of scaffolding experience

GCC/Qatar construction project experience preferred

Knowledge of tube & fitting, cuplock, and system scaffolds

Ability to read scaffold drawings

CISRS or equivalent scaffolding certification is an advantage

Strong safety knowledge
