Center Onsite Supervisor

Community Child Care Center is seeking an Onsite Supervisor. Our objective is to instill, encourage, and further a love of learning while providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of the child.

The Onsite Supervisor is a committed individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while assisting the Center Director to effectively and efficiently running all Center operations, including supervising staff, and managing daily operations such as attendance, payroll, and Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP) compliance.

Minimum requirements include:

· 18 years of age or older.

· High school diploma or passed a general education development test.

· A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).

· Preference will be given to candidates with experience in child care administration.

· Knowledge of state licensing regulations.

· Must score 75 points through a combination of education, experience, and child development related training according to the HHS point system. A minimum of two categories must be used, no more than 50 points may be achieved in any one category, and at least 10 points must be obtained from the experience category.

· Excellent writing and oral communication skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office.

· Self-directed and driven.

· Familiar with HHS, CACFP and Iowa Quality for Kids child care regulations and requirements.

· Understanding of financial reports.

· Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus.
