OOH drainage and plumbing engineer

Job Summary

RGW require multi skilled Drainage Engineers with plumbing ability to join our very busy Out Of Hours team. You will need to be expert in clearing drain Blockages using a HPW Jet Van pack, Rotary Machines and all other methods of drain clearance, both internal and external, Plumbing Skills, being able to locate fix domestic plumbing minor leaks.

Ideally a calm attitude towards problem solving and job management would be beneficial.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering OOH full time Monday through to Friday (4 shifts) and Weekend (1 Shift) have experience of Responsive Repairs and maintenance contract work. Reporting directly to our OOH's Manager and hitting targeted response times, Providing detailed and accurate job completion updates via the PDA.

Qualifications and Skills

Drainage - Operation of HPWJ and other manual unblocking methods

Plumbing - Locating and repairing leaks to domestic properties

Basic Locksmith - Yale and Euro replacement/forced entry

Board up of windows and doors

General make safe works

Continuous development through training and coaching would be offered and a successful candidate would be supported to achieving certification by the NADC (National Association of Drainage Contractors).

Full Driving licence Required

CSCS card required (CSCS Can be attained within 1st 3 months of employment)

The position being offered is based on a an annual salary and bonus scheme, 28 days paid holiday including Public holidays, Company Pension, Phone/PDA, Uniform, Van and Plant. You will be required to supply your own hand tools.

Pay: £40,000.00-£64,000.00 per year
