Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Minimum 1 year sea service as OOW, specifically on DP-capable vessels.
• Valid STCW II/1 Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch certification.
• Full DP Certificate (unlimited or equivalent recognized scheme).
• Strong understanding of dynamic positioning operations in close-quarters environments.
• Demonstrated ability to operate safely under time-sensitive crew transfer conditions.
• Proficiency in bridge equipment, electronic navigation systems, and DP consoles.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Flexible approach to rotational schedules and offshore working conditions.

Tasks:

• Maintain a safe and efficient navigational watch during DP and transit operations.
• Execute DP procedures for personnel transfers alongside offshore installations.
• Monitor vessel position, heading, and environmental conditions continuously.
• Assist Master in maneuvering during high-speed transits and close approach operations.
• Ensure compliance with company safety management systems and operational procedures.
• Conduct pre-arrival and departure checks related to navigation and DP readiness.
• Record and report navigational data, incidents, and DP events accurately.
• Coordinate with deck crew to support safe boarding and disembarkation of personnel.
• Maintain situational awareness in congested or restricted offshore zones.
• Participate in drills, safety meetings, and routine vessel operational checks.
