Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth movement of patients between OPD rooms.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and diagnostic units.
- Prepare patients for consultation by checking tokens or appointment slips. Handle OPD files, forms, prescription folders, and departmental documentation.
- Assist in generating bills or service slips (if required).
- Manage inventory of OPD stationery and maintain cleanliness of the working area. Help doctors and nurses with non-clinical tasks.
- Ensure consultation rooms are organized and equipped before sessions.
- Arrange patient files, reports, and basic instruments if required (non-clinical).
Inform patients about waiting times, procedures, and OPD schedules.
- Help elderly, disabled, or critical patients navigate the facility.
- Maintain a calm, professional attitude during busy periods.Follow hospital policies and confidentiality rules (patient privacy).
- Ensure compliance with infection-control guidelines in waiting areas.
- Report any issues or incidents to supervisors promptly.
