The Operating Room Nurse Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and work closely with senior leadership in both nursing and physician groups. This role will also collaborate with an accomplished perioperative leadership team and have direct oversight of the clinical and administrative staff who support daily operations in the department.

The Operating Room Nurse Director will oversee 15 operating rooms within a Level II Trauma Center. The unit is known for its professional, highly skilled surgical teams and supportive working culture. The Operating Room Nurse Director will work with experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes in a dynamic surgical setting.

The Operating Room Nurse Director will be responsible for guiding both the clinical and administrative aspects of Perioperative Services. This includes mentoring staff, advancing education and training, ensuring compliance with clinical competencies, and driving quality improvement initiatives. On the operational side, the Operating Room Nurse Director will manage budgets, staffing, scheduling, physician relations, and resource allocation, all while ensuring that the department aligns with organizational goals and patient care priorities.
