We are looking for a proactive and organized Operations Assistant to support our daily business functions and ensure a smooth workflow across departments. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a strong communicator, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of accounting principles and prior experience in the banking field will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the operations team with scheduling, logistics, and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods or services.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational reports.
- Prepare documentation, perform data entry, and assist in report generation.
- Support compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor operational KPIs and flag inconsistencies or delays.
- Perform general office duties, including responding to emails, phone calls, and managing files.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate transaction posting and recordkeeping in SAP.
- Assist with basic accounting functions such as invoice verification, bank reconciliation, and payment follow-up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience using SAP in a similar operational or accounting role.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial sector is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
