HEC Enviro (India) Pvt. Ltd. is a leading organization in environmental and sanitation solutions, providing advanced equipment and services for urban cleanliness and waste management projects. We specialize in supplying and operating Mechanical Sweepers, E-Sweepers, and other environmental cleaning machinery for municipal and government projects across India.

We are looking for an experienced Operation & Maintenance Engineer for the Kolkata region who will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintenance, and performance of sanitation and cleaning equipment deployed at various project sites. The role requires strong technical expertise, field coordination, and the ability to manage breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities at assigned project sites.

· Ensure smooth operation of Mechanical Sweepers / E-Sweepers and other sanitation equipment.

· Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and downtime.

· Diagnose technical issues and handle troubleshooting to ensure timely resolution.

· Coordinate with operators, technicians, and site staff to ensure uninterrupted operations.

· Maintain daily operational reports, breakdown logs, service records, and documentation.

· Coordinate with internal departments for spare parts requirement and timely procurement.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures at site.

· Maintain effective coordination with client officials and provide required reporting updates.

· Visit multiple sites across Kolkata region as per operational requirements.

Educational Qualification

· Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical

Key Skills & Competencies

· Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical & maintenance.

· Hands-on experience in handling industrial equipment / heavy machinery / vehicles.

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

· Experience in preventive maintenance planning and execution.

· Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and documentation.

· Ability to manage site-level teams and handle urgent breakdown situations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Experience in handling Government / Municipal projects will be highly preferred.

· Exposure to sanitation equipment, sweeping machines, or O&M projects is an added advantage.

· Candidate should be based in Kolkata or willing to relocate.

· Must be flexible to travel across different project sites within the Kolkata region.

· Immediate joiners / short notice candidates will be preferred.

Compensation

Salary is Negotiable, based on experience and company standards.
