Operation Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager – Warehouse (Food Retail) Dubai Investment Park

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and improve warehouse operations within a food retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in food retail warehousing, with the ability to analyze current operations, develop structured plans, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of food products.
• Analyze current warehouse processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
• Develop and implement operational plans, SOPs, and process improvements to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, FIFO/FEFO, and temperature control requirements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, stock rotation, wastage, and shrinkage.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, retail, and finance teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.
• Track KPIs related to warehouse efficiency, accuracy, turnaround time, and cost.
• Implement systems or tools to improve reporting, visibility, and operational control.
• Prepare regular operational reports and present improvement recommendations to management.
• Ensure health, safety, and security standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in warehouse or operations management within food retail, FMCG, or food distribution.
• Strong understanding of food handling, storage, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to create operational plans, redesign workflows, and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience managing teams and multi-shift operations.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in setting up or restructuring warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
