About the Role

Sundari Silks India is seeking a highly experienced and result-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end showroom operations. This leadership role requires deep expertise in textile retail operations, strong business acumen, and mandatory Six Sigma Green Belt certification to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and superior customer experience in a high-volume showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Process Excellence

• Lead complete showroom operations including sales, inventory, procurement coordination, logistics, and customer service
• Drive continuous process improvement using Six Sigma methodologies to reduce wastage, improve turnaround time, and enhance productivity
• Develop, standardize, and monitor SOPs, workflows, and audit systems
• Present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and operational performance reports to management

Sales & Business Performance

• Track daily sales performance against targets and initiate corrective actions
• Partner with sales leadership to improve conversion rates and average bill value (ABV)
• Support festival sales, wedding seasons, and promotional campaigns
• Strengthen repeat customer base and loyalty metrics

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

• Oversee inventory planning, stock rotation, aging control, shrinkage reduction, and replenishment
• Ensure 100% stock accuracy between physical inventory and ERP/POS systems
• Coordinate with weaving units, warehouses, and logistics partners

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

• Maintain a consistent premium customer experience aligned with brand standards
• Handle high-value customer escalations, grievances, and dispute resolution

Finance, Compliance & Risk Control

• Control operating expenses (OPEX) and identify cost leakages
• Ensure statutory compliance, internal audits, cash controls, and loss-prevention systems
• Support management with MIS, forecasting, and annual budgeting

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification – Mandatory
• Minimum 10+ years of senior-level experience in textile/showroom/retail operations
• Proven experience managing large-format or high-revenue textile showrooms
• Strong expertise in ERP, POS systems, MIS, and Advanced Excel reporting
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, execution ability, and crisis management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
