Operation Supervisor

Operation supervisor:

Job Objective: To manage and exercise full control over the movement of heavy equipment and heavy transport vehicles, ensuring absolute discipline among drivers and operators to achieve maximum operational efficiency.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience specifically in the heavy equipment rental and heavy haulage logistics sector.
• Strong Personality: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and control drivers and operators, ensuring strict adherence to instructions and schedules.
• Quick Wit & Decisiveness: The ability to think on your feet and make immediate, effective decisions during emergencies, breakdowns, or site delays.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of heavy machinery (Cranes, Excavators, etc.) and heavy transport logistics (Lowbeds, Flatbeds, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Control: Supervise the daily mobilization and demobilization of heavy equipment and transport units.
• Personnel Management: Directing and monitoring drivers and operators, ensuring high performance and zero unauthorized downtime.
• Logistics Coordination: Planning the transport of heavy machinery, selecting appropriate trailers, and optimizing routes for safety and speed.
• Problem Solving: Acting as the primary point of contact for field issues, resolving conflicts, and managing unexpected operational hurdles instantly.
• Maintenance Liaison: Coordinating with the technical team to ensure all units are site-ready and compliant with safety standards before deployment.
• Reporting: Providing daily status reports on fleet movement, operator performance, and any incidents.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and GPS tracking software.
• Ability to work under high pressure and manage multiple urgent requests simultaneously.
• High level of responsibility and commitment to safety (HSE) protocols.
• Have an experience in Oil and Gas
