Operation theatre assistant

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare the OT before each surgery by ensuring cleanliness, proper sterilization, and correct arrangement of equipment.

2. Set up surgical instruments, microscope, trays, and consumables according to the procedure

3. Sterilize and disinfect instruments using autoclaves and follow strict aseptic techniques. Maintain sterile fields during surgery and prevent contamination

4. Check functionality of OT equipment (microscope, phaco machine, vitrectomy systems, cautery, suction, etc.). Report malfunctions and ensure proper maintenance.

5. Monitor & maintian stock of sterile supplies, surgical consumables, and medications used in OT. Coordinate with supply chain team for replenishment.

6. Maintaining Patient Files, OT records such as instrument usage, sterilization logs, procedure details, and consumable usage.

7. Register for daily surgeries performed including surgery date, patient name, MRD no., type of surgery performed, eye, surgeon name, sticker of IOL used in surgery

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
