Pre-operative Preparation:

Preparing the operating room for surgery, including setting up equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.

Sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.

Ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.

Preparing patients for surgery, including positioning them on the operating table.

Assisting During Surgery:

Providing assistance to surgeons by passing instruments and supplies.

Maintaining a sterile field and ensuring the surgical site is clean and dry.

Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any abnormalities.

Post-operative Care:

Cleaning and disinfecting the operating room after each procedure.

Restocking supplies and ensuring the room is ready for the next surgery.

Assisting with the transfer of patients to the recovery room.

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintaining and calibrating surgical instruments and equipment.

Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.

Ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

Inventory Management:

Maintaining an inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.

Ordering supplies as needed.

Other Duties:

Transporting patients to and from the operating room.

Following infection control protocols.

Adhering to safety guidelines.

Essential Skills: C ARM Instruments Knowledge is must *

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures.

Sterile Technique: Meticulous attention to maintaining a sterile environment.

Attention to Detail: Essential for ensuring accuracy in instrument handling and preparation.

Communication Skills: Effective communication with surgeons, nurses, and other team members.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and adapt to changing situations.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment.

Ability to Work Under Pressure: Maintaining composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
