Operation Theatre Technician

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Operation Theatre Technician to assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining OT readiness, sterilization, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries
• Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures
• Maintain aseptic and infection-control standards
• Operate OT equipment such as lights, suction, cautery, monitors
• Assist in patient positioning and transfer
• Clean and reset OT after procedures
• Manage OT inventory and report low stock
• Follow hospital safety and biomedical waste protocols

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in OT Technology or related field
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques
• Ability to work in shifts and emergency situations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to protocols
• Female candidates preferred
