Role Overview:

The Packing & Store Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire packing

department and store/warehouse operations. This role ensures smooth workflow, proper

inventory management, timely order dispatch, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing Operations

 Plan, supervise, and manage daily packing activities.

 Ensure timely packing of customer orders as per required standards.

 Maintain quality checks on packed goods, packaging material, and labelling.

 Optimize manpower allocation for efficient output.

 Implement packing SOPs and minimize wastage of packing materials.

 Coordinate with production, QC, and dispatch teams.

Store & Inventory Management

 Supervise inward and outward movement of raw materials, finished goods, and packing

materials.

 Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/Excel.

 Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

 Ensure safe storage practices and proper stacking.

 Monitor minimum stock levels (Reorder levels) and raise purchase requests accordingly.

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

 Ensure timely dispatch of orders as per priority and customer deadlines.

 Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and shipment planning.

 Verify transport documents—invoice, e-way bill, packing list, etc.

Team Management

 Train, supervise, and lead packing & store staff.

 Monitor team performance and maintain discipline.

 Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and housekeeping standards (5S).

Reporting & Documentation

 Prepare daily/weekly reports on packing output, stock levels, and dispatches.

 Maintain documentation for audits, QC checks, and compliance.

 Review and update SOPs for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Graduate in any discipline; Diploma/Certification in Warehouse Management is a plus.

 7–10 years of experience in packing, warehousing, or store operations.

 Knowledge of ERP, inventory software, and MS Excel.

 Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to manage large teams and high-pressure situations.
