Operational Excellence Program Director - Manufacturing Network Expansion

The Operational Excellence Program Director - Manufacturing is responsible for establishing program guidance to support Telix's network expansion strategy. The purpose of this role is to establish the appropriate programs to ensure continuity and efficiency in the execution of expanding the in house capabilities of Telix's CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) Network. Reporting into the VP, CDMO Network Development, this role supports the implementation of the strategy and fosters a culture of operational excellence by delivering standard and sustainable programs that facilitate efficient execution of internal drug manufacturing capabilities, including process development and optimization, technology transfer strategy, and compliance with national regulatory standards (including 21 CFR 212 & 211, NRC).

Key Accountabilities
  • Project Management Leadership and Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders and asset owners to develop, articulate, and implement program strategy, including high level milestones and organizational objectives. Assist in development of project management and operational best practices, ensuring consistent implementation and training to support a dynamic business strategy.
  • Program Leadership and Execution: Perform comprehensive gap analysis to identify all critical processes, expertise and programs needed to support the CDMO in house capability expansion. Work with internal and external partners to develop strategies to mitigate identified gaps. Lead the translation of defined programs into operational and commercial execution, encompassing process development, quality program development, manufacturing operations, and other program needs.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Manage complex, strategic cross functional projects, delivering operational excellence and ensuring all programs meet the minimum requirements of planning, execution, and reporting. Key deliverables may include program scheduling, financial tracking and reporting, resource allocation, risk management, and prioritization of business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute transformation programs and projects to maintain and improve business initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to assure functionality and sustainability of developed procedures, processes, and programs. Recommend and develop efficiencies and process improvements within the expanding CDMO network and capabilities.
  • Portfolio Oversight: In coordination with the Director of the PMO, establish portfolio level reporting, governance, and procedures to deliver and report key business inflection points, including financial drivers, KPIs, and decision making milestones.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality.
  • Experience managing large budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and leading cross functional teams to drive operational efficiency while maintaining compliance.
