OPERATIONALACCOUNANT

1. Financial Management

Prepare and maintain complete accounting records

Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports

Monitor cash flow and operational expenditures

Submit periodic financial reports to management

2. Cost Control

Establish cost centers (Racing – Shows – Boarding – Treatments – Feed – Salaries)

Calculate monthly and annual cost per horse

Analyze expenses and identify operational waste

Compare actual costs against approved budgets

3. Inventory Management

Manage inventory of feed, medicines, and supplies

Apply First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method

Conduct monthly physical stock counts

Monitor medicine expiry dates

Reconcile inventory with invoices and expense records

4. Payroll & Administration

Prepare payroll for approximately 25 employees

Monitor attendance, leave, and overtime

Ensure compliance with labor regulations in the State of Qatar

5. Reporting & Internal Control

Prepare monthly operational reports

Implement clear internal control systems

Coordinate with management and suppliers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

4–8 years of experience in operational accounting

Experience in farms, operational environments, or high-inventory sectors preferred

Advanced Excel skills (Cost Analysis – Pivot Tables – Operational Reporting)

Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or equivalent

Strong, organized personality capable of working in a field-based stable environment
