Position Summary

The Operations Account Lead will serve as the dedicated point of contact for a key client. This individual serves as the liaison between the client and warehouse operations. The Account Lead must understand client expectations while partnering with operations to ensure outstanding, customized service.

This individual is responsible for providing operational support at a warehouse location to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery, handling of customer orders, and shipments. Ensures compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.

Daily responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to order and inventory management, customer service, data entry, report generation and analysis, auditing, quality and control, internal and external communications, transportation coordination, and miscellaneous administrative duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Advocate on key client’s behalf by maintaining open lines of communication with client via phone, email, and MS Teams to ensure that expectations are met
  • Research shipment tracking requests and provide feedback, including resolution of misplaced orders
  • Monitor, manage, and modify orders when necessary
  • Utilize a variety of MS Office programs and other warehouse management systems as necessary
  • Handle customer specific requests pertaining to lot specific orders, order cuts, rush orders, and UPC dating
  • Audit receipts and outbound orders as relates to piece count, accuracy, and expiration dates
  • Inventory management, discrepancy resolution, and adjustments
  • Project management
  • Train and provide guidance to warehouse associates as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
  • College degree preferred

  • Cognitive/Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate simple and complex information, ideas, and information. The employee is also required to use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information, and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations. The employee must use problem-solving skills to formulate and apply appropriate courses of action for routine or familiar situations. The employee may be required to perform numerical operations including basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing or more complex quantitative calculations.
  • Work Environment: This position is primarily performed in a warehouse and office with varying degrees of temperatures.
