Position Title: Operations Administrative Coordinator
Reports To: Operations Director
Position Summary: The Operations Administrative Coordinator is primarily responsible for the management of volunteer drivers, food rescue pick-up schedules and overall receiving practices (including private donations).
Operations
· Manage volunteer drivers and driver schedules as the primary point-of-contact.
· Monitor substitute driver needs daily. MAY AT TIMES NEED TO DRIVE FEEDNC VEHICLES AND PICK UP DONATED FOOD AND DRY GOODS ITEMS!
· Maintain an accurate grocery store pickup schedule.
· Lead overall receiving practices (greeting, assisting with unloading, providing receipts, etc.) in a way that reflects our appreciation.
· Assist with unloading deliveries/donations.
· Be the point-of-contact for food sorting volunteers regarding inventory labels
· Transfer data from an internal inventory sign-out sheet to our inventory system.
· Update donor management software with all donations as they are received.
· Log all deliveries into an Excel spreadsheet and binder on a daily basis. At the end of the month, add the store monthly totals into our donor management system.
· Provide the Operations Director with a report of all “in kind” donations (both private & stores) prior to the 15th of each month. Verify accuracy of store donations with Excel spreadsheet.
· Report community dining totals to Second Harvest monthly, in a timely and accurate manner.
· Report poundage and supplemental grocery data to Second Harvest monthly in a timely and accurate manner.
Basic Duties That Apply to ALL Employees
Education & Experience:
High school diploma required. No experience required. Physical labor required including ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. Basic understanding of technology required (smart phones, tablets, etc. for donation and inventory purposes).

MUST HAVE A VALID NC Driver License as we will run an MVR to make sure the candidate is able to be place on our insurance policy
Equipment Operated:
Employee will use standard commercial kitchen and warehouse moving equipment (carts and hand trucks), walk-in refrigeration and organization vehicles (commercial vans).
Working Conditions:
Employee would potentially be exposed to communicable diseases and other conditions due to frequent contact with staff and guests. The employee would occasionally be required to travel locally or regionally. The employee would be required to occasionally work evening or weekend hours as needed.
Pay: From $19.26 per hour
