Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations and Marketing Manager with a passion for music education and nonprofit arts management to lead our organizational efficiency and brand growth initiatives. In this multifaceted role, you will oversee daily office operations, coordinate marketing strategies, manage vendor and community partner relationships, support on-site management of in-school programming, and supervise administrative staff. Your energetic leadership will ensure seamless office management while driving innovative marketing campaigns that elevate our brand presence. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, filing, front desk duties, database management, responding to phone calls, voicemails, and digital messages, and ensuring smooth communication flow.
- Serve as a school ambassador, maintaining positive relationships with families, faculty and the community.
- In partnership with the Executive Team, develop and implement marketing strategies to promote brand awareness through events, digital campaigns, and community outreach efforts, create and design promotional materials and flyers, develop a social media calendar, and create social media content.
- Coordinate event planning activities from concept through execution, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
- Supervise administrative staff.
- Oversee bookkeeping, payroll processing and invoicing via QuickBooks, student lesson subscriptions, and financial recordkeeping to maintain fiscal health, maintaining a positive partnerships with employees and community partner programs.
- Handle human resources functions such as onboarding new team members, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with office policies.
- Manage schedule and calendar coordination for leadership and team members to optimize productivity, keep all internal and public calendars up-to-date.
- Maintain office supplies and instrument inventory.
- Maintain facilities, including following proper opening and closing protocols.
- Support faculty management tasks where applicable, including and appointment and facility scheduling and student/family communication protocols.
- Ensure smooth operation of all music events (including recitals), program creation and distribution, event logistics, volunteer recruitment and management
- Track student enrollment, rosters, and attendance.
- Participate in event, concert, and fundraising planning and management.

- Experience in bookkeeping/payroll
- Experience in Events Management
- Knowledge of Canva, Slack, Front, Notion, Acuity, Squarespace, Google Sheets/Drive a plus
Hours (Hybrid Remote/In-Person)
40 hours/week September-May
20 hours/week June-August
Must be available in person on Saturdays 8am-3pm (September-May), some weekday afternoons to assist with our partner programs, and for additional evenings/weekends for special events as needed.
Reporting to and supporting the Executive Team.
Pay: $28.00 per hour
