Operations Assistant

Kinfolks Hospitality Group is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Assistant to work directly with ownership and leadership in overseeing daily operations across multiple restaurant concepts.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can move with urgency, think independently, and execute at a high level. The ideal candidate will serve as the eyes and ears of leadership, ensuring operations, communication, and execution remain aligned across all locations and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with CEO and management team on daily operations
  • Assist in overseeing multiple restaurant locations to ensure standards are met
  • Coordinate and manage employee scheduling and staffing needs
  • Support payroll processing and time tracking accuracy
  • Ensure uniforms, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained across all locations
  • Communicate with managers to ensure tasks, policies, and expectations are executed properly
  • Review, proofread, and finalize internal documents, communications, and reports
  • Assist with onboarding, hiring coordination, and team organization
  • Monitor daily operations and report issues, inefficiencies, and solutions to leadership
  • Support new restaurant openings, including working with designers, vendors, and contractors
  • Help manage administrative systems, organization, and workflow improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail (nothing gets missed)
  • Strong communication and leadership support ability
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with scheduling systems and payroll support
  • Familiar with QuickBooks or similar accounting software (preferred)
  • Ability to proofread and produce professional communication
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-location environments
  • Graphic design or marketing skills are a PLUS (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations

Pay: $20.00 - $23.33 per hour
