Operations & Business Development Manager – FMCG (HoReCa Focus)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Operations & Business Development Manager with hands-on experience in the Qatar market, specifically within the HoReCa sector (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering).

The ideal candidate will combine strong operational management skills with proven sales and market expansion experience to drive revenue growth, optimize distribution operations, and strengthen key HoReCa partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

* Develop and expand FMCG distribution within the HoReCa sector across Qatar

* Identify and onboard new hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and cloud kitchens

* Manage key accounts and negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements

* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets

* Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity and identify growth opportunities

* Introduce new brands and SKUs into the HoReCa channel

* Build long-term relationships with chefs, procurement managers, and F&B directors

Operations Management

* Oversee daily warehouse, inventory, and logistics coordination

* Ensure timely deliveries and service excellence for HoReCa clients

* Coordinate with procurement for demand planning and stock forecasting

* Monitor stock rotation, expiry control, and shrinkage

* Optimize operational costs while maintaining service quality

* Implement SOPs to streamline order processing and delivery efficiency

Administration & Reporting

* Monitor receivables and coordinate with finance for collections

* Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and operational analysis

* Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations and company policies

Requirements:

* Minimum 5–8 years of FMCG experience in Qatar

* Proven hands-on HoReCa sales experience with strong market connections

* Strong understanding of the Qatar distribution and supply chain environment

* Experience managing operations, logistics, and inventory

* Valid Qatar driving license

* Strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills

* Ability to work independently and drive business growth
