Operations Coordinator

As an Operations & Customer Service Representative of the Pinch Intermodal team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a top tier Intermodal Company. Responsibilities:

• Well educated in steamship line, the Dallas rail processes for picking up and receiving containers.
• Managing and capability to resolve issues with export bookings
• Managing the freight chain from rail to delivery in an efficient and cost effective manner.
• Taking orders from customers via email, negotiating competitive rates, providing proper documentation and ensuring delivery schedules within an expedited time-frame.
• Following up to ensure deliveries are going according to the plans.
• Expediting as necessary to ensure customers transportation requirements are taken care of.
• Determining the best way to ship, negotiating rates and providing all the necessary documentation.
• Knowledgeable of heavy weight container logistics, permits, equipment necessary to haul

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years full-time work experience; college degree preferred
• 1+ years dispatching experience is a plus
• Ability to deal with a sporadic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
• Strong work ethic, solid negotiation and conflict-management skills
• Above average email management, computer and typing skills
• Prior customer service skills in the container drayage industry
