Operations Coordinator (Home Services | Scheduling & Dispatch)

We’re a fast-growing home services company based in the Lake Norman area, and we’re looking for the right person to help us stay organized, responsive, and operating at a high level as we grow.

This is not a typical “customer service” role.

You’ll be at the center of our day-to-day operations, helping manage incoming leads, schedule jobs, communicate with our team, and keep everything running smoothly.

If you’re quick, organized, tech-savvy, and like being in the middle of the action, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Answering incoming calls, texts, and website inquiries quickly and professionally
  • Scheduling estimates and jobs using our system (Housecall Pro)
  • Communicating with technicians throughout the day to keep jobs on track
  • Following up with leads so opportunities don’t fall through the cracks
  • Keeping everything organized and up to date in our system
  • Helping manage the daily schedule and adjust as things change
  • Collecting job photos and notes from the field for internal use and marketing
  • Helping ensure a smooth, high-quality customer experience from start to finish

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills (clear, confident, professional)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new systems quickly
  • Able to think on your feet and solve problems in real time
  • Not passive, you take initiative and stay on top of things
  • Local to the Lake Norman / Cornelius area

Bonus (Not Required)

  • Experience with scheduling or dispatching
  • Experience in home services (handyman, cleaning, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CRM or job management software

Position Details

  • Part-time (25–35 hours per week to start)
  • Hybrid role (some remote flexibility, but must be local)
  • Availability during business hours is important
  • Opportunity to grow into a larger role as the company expands

Compensation

  • $20–$25/hour based on experience
  • Performance-based bonuses available
