Petals Enlightenment Institutes Ltd. is hiring for Operations cum Admissions Head, Petals has been one of India’s leading Early Childhood Education and Care centres with a rich 22 year old legacy of nurturing young curious minds through experiential learning that helps inculcate an understanding of their surroundings right from their daycare, preschool, and kindergarten days. Our curriculum is designed based on the elements of creativity and imagination that focuses on the all-around development of a child through the EYFS learning method.

Job Title: Operations cum Admissions Head

Role Overview

The Operations cum Admissions Head is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end admissions process while ensuring smooth operational functioning of the institution/centre. The role focuses on increasing admissions, optimizing processes, managing teams, and enhancing student/parent experience from enquiry to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities Admissions Management

  • Develop and execute admission strategies to meet enrolment targets.
  • Handle enquiry-to-admission funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.
  • Conduct counseling sessions for students/parents.
  • Manage admission documentation, eligibility checks, and compliance.
  • Coordinate entrance tests/interviews when applicable.
  • Monitor admission MIS reports and conversion metrics.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily centre/branch operations.
  • Implement SOPs to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Manage front-desk, administrative and support staff.
  • Ensure availability of academic resources, classrooms, and infrastructure.
  • Handle vendor coordination, logistics, and facility management.
  • Resolve operational challenges promptly.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, guide, and monitor admission & operations teams.
  • Set performance targets and conduct reviews.
  • Foster a customer-centric and result-oriented culture.

Customer Experience & Relationship Building

  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for students.
  • Address grievances of students/parents professionally.
  • Build relationships with schools, colleges, consultants, and partners for lead generation.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records and dashboards.
  • Present weekly/monthly reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, legal, and audit norms.

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in admissions, operations, or education management.
  • Experience in meeting admission/enrolment targets.
  • Exposure to centre/branch management is an added advantage.
