Operations Engineer - Deployment

Job Description
Summary
The Operations Engineer will assist Project Managers, Project Engineers, and the Installation Manager by taking lead responsibility for all aspects of project installations and deployments assigned. This includes responsibility for project installation planning, coordination of resources and quality while supporting the Project Manager and Project Engineer to meet technical, schedule and financial objectives.
A successful Installation Supervisor Engineer will:
· Represent EuroSort in a professional manner
· Manage installation resources – EuroSort installers, subcontracted millwrights, materials, tools, rental(s), and shipments
· Translate project requirements and engineering drawings into installation plans
· Provide timely technical responses and installation feedback to project engineers
· Assure installation requirements are clear and achievable at the start of an installation and that they are achieved and recognized during the performance of the project
· Take ownership of the installation planning of project(s)
· Communicate and validate project installation schedules and deliveries with project managers through standard reporting and expenses submissions
· Initiate cost and efficiency improvements on installations and service efforts where possible
· Record field changes and make sure documentation is adequate to handover project to customer and service department
· Assist with shipping and receiving
· Assist with commissioning and startup support
Qualifications:
· Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent work experience required
· 3D modeling experience and/or training preferred (SolidWorks Preferred)
· AutoCAD experience preferred
· Hands-on mechanical experience required
· Material Handling Industry preferred
· Team player – able to work with all departments among EuroSort, suppliers, and with Customer contacts
· Must be willing to travel - up to 80%

The ideal candidate is technically competent, organized and enjoys travel and the challenge that comes with coordinating complex installations and service efforts in an efficient manner. The Operations Engineer has a lot of autonomy to get the job done on schedule and must work independently and through others to successfully assure all technical, schedule and financial goals of an installation are met.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
