Your Role: Hands-On, Fast-Paced, and Rewarding
The Operations & Events Assistant is a vital part of the Management Office, balancing customer service, administrative duties, youth programming support, and event execution. If you love variety and thrive in a collaborative, energetic environment, this is the job for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Event Coordination: Assist with planning, organizing, and executing events from start to finish—including setup, breakdown, logistics, vendor support, décor, and event activation.
- Youth Program Oversight: Manage our Kid Crew and Teen Club, including creating age-appropriate activities, coordinating schedules, assisting with sign-ups, and ensuring safe, engaging experiences for members.
- Administrative Support: Manage day-to-day office operations including rent collection, maintaining tenant files, reporting, and general organizational tasks.
- Customer & Tenant Relations: Serve as a welcoming point of contact for tenants and guests. Answer questions, resolve concerns, and maintain positive ongoing relationships.
- Marketing Assistance: Support content creation, social promotions, community outreach, and event marketing campaigns.
- Operational Support: Assist in maintaining smooth mall operations, including vendor coordination, inspections, and communication with service providers.
- Physical Event Preparation: Participate in event setup/takedown, including bending, squatting, and lifting up to 30 lbs as well as spending extended periods walking and standing during event preparations.
- Special Projects & Other Duties as Assigned: Jump in where needed to support new initiatives, seasonal programs, and mall enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical setup tasks
- Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require
