Operations Executive — Job Description (for Hedge School of Applied Economics)
Job Summary
As an Operations Executive at Hedge School of Applied Economics, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations across academic, administrative, and student-facing functions. You'll support internal teams, improve processes, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the institution’s educational and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Administrative Support
- Monitor and coordinate routine administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling, resource allocation, documentation).
- Ensure classroom logistics and facility management run seamlessly.
- Maintain operational records, student files, and program documentation.
Process Optimization & Performance Monitoring
- Identify bottlenecks in workflows and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Track key operational metrics and prepare performance reports for leadership.
- Support continuous improvement in classroom delivery, student onboarding, and support services.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with academic faculty, student support teams, marketing, and finance.
- Act as a point of contact between departments to streamline communication and execution.
- Engage with external partners/vendors as needed for supplies, events, and services.
Project Assistance
- Participate in project planning and implementation related to new programs, certification events, or institutional initiatives.
- Support the rollout and execution of new operational procedures.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain adherence to internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A Master’s or diploma in Education Management/Finance/Administration is a plus.
Experience
- 0–3 years in an operations, administrative, or coordination role (educational or corporate environment preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Effective communication — both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Bi ) and basic data management.
- Team collaboration with a proactive attitude.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
