Tjara.ca, is Halal Financial Service, based in Canada & looking for a Operations Executive, Male Candidate, for back office based in Karachi, someone who is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Islamic financial products, ensuring that all transactions, including Murabaha, Ijarah, or Musharakah, strictly comply with Shariah principles. This role involves processing client transactions, managing documentation, and ensuring operational efficiency in alignment with both regulatory and Shariah requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Shariah Compliance: Review and approve financial products and transactions to ensure adherence to Shariah principles.
- Transaction Processing: Process customer deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and payments, specifically for Islamic accounts.
- Documentation & Record Management: Maintain accurate records of client files, loan applications (financing requests), and agreements, archiving them according to procedures.
- Client Support: Answer customer queries regarding the benefits, pricing, and conditions of Shariah-compliant products.
- Operations & Logistics: Handle tasks such as issuing Pay Orders/Demand Drafts (PO/DD), managing ATM cards, and reconciling cash drawers daily.
- Financing Operations: Prepare financing disbursements and conduct pre-disbursement interviews with clients.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably in Islamic banking or microfinance.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Islamic finance principles (e.g., prohibition of Riba) and Shariah-compliant products.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, strong analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent command over ENGLISH for interacting with customers.
