Operations Head

We are seeking a Head of Operations to take full ownership of all day-to-day operations. This senior role requires someone who can view the company with a holistic lens, ensuring smooth functioning across production, client servicing, design, logistics, and stock management and other departments.

The Head of Operations will act as the backbone of the organization — making sure that no tasks fall through the cracks, every department is aligned, and teams receive the feedback and direction they need. Ensuring flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Holistic Operations Leadership
• Oversee and streamline day-to-day operations across all departments.
• Build systems that ensure accountability, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Anticipate challenges, troubleshoot, and prevent operational bottlenecks.
• Team Support & Development
• Support and guide team heads and junior members with feedback, direction, and solutions.
• Act as the central link between teams and the founder, ensuring clarity and smooth communication.
• Foster a culture of ownership, high performance, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Project & Site Execution
• Ensuring design intent and quality are maintained and site and client servicing team is aligned with clients
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, keeping delivery aligned with expectations.
• Supply Chain & Logistics
• Manage procurement, vendors, stock, and logistics with precision.
• Implement best practices from manufacturing and supply chain management to optimize operations.
• Founder Enablement
• Ensure the founder’s time is freed from daily firefighting.
• Provide structured reporting, visibility, and insights across all operations.
• And focus on Miscellaneous tasks / department that requires attention and operative management for smooth function of the system holistically

• Handled Project Management softwares
• Has created weekly update reports in the past
• Worked with systems to ensure seamless execution
• G- Suite/ Google workspace is a must
• Email & Communication Tools: Slack, Teams, Asana, etc
• ERP / MRP Systems: (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo, Fishbowl, or similar).
• Advanced Excel / Data Tools: For analytics and reporting automation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: MBA with specialization in Operations or Project Management (mandatory).
• Worked in Manufacturing setup in the past
• Preferred industry experience - Lighting Factory / Furniture Factory
• Handled Engineers, Technicians, Labours and Teams (minimum of 50 People)
• Experience: 4-10 years of experience in operations, project management, or supply chain.
• Preferred: Background in a manufacturing or supply chain setup with proven ability to implement systems and drive efficiency.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to handle multiple departments simultaneously.
