Find The RightJob.
About the Role: We are AARK Logistics LLC, a highly performing Delivery Service Partner (DSP). We are looking for a “Numbers Person” with an HR heartbeat—a decisive leader who can audit a complex timecard spreadsheet in the morning and coach a driver on safety protocols in the afternoon. You will be the operational engine of our fleet, responsible for ensuring 100% staffing, 100% payroll accuracy, 100% compliance with strict safety and hour-limit regulations, and owning the insurance claims plus other administrative deliverables as per operational needs.
The Mission: Efficiency, Compliance, & Safety: You will bridge the gap between Human Resources and Daily Operations. Your goal is to build a reliable team of drivers, ensure they are paid accurately (and strictly for hours worked), and maintain a fleet that operates safely and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily Recruitment & Staffing:
· Manage the full-cycle hiring process to maintain an "always-on" pipeline of qualified drivers.
· Screen candidates for reliability and safety focus, ensuring we never face a driver shortage during peak volume.
Payroll Auditing & "Time card Integrity":
· Daily Timecard Audits: strict daily review of Paycom punches against GPS data to identify and correct discrepancies immediately.
· Eliminate "Milking the Clock": Proactively identify inefficiencies (e.g., unauthorized stops, slow loadouts) and correct behaviors to align paid hours with route expectations.
· Bi-Weekly Processing: Execute flawless payroll for 50-100+ employees, ensuring zero errors in overtime calculations or benefit deductions.
Metric Monitoring & Driver Coaching:
· Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs): Monitor daily safety scores (Netradyne/Mentor) and delivery defects.
· Real-Time Coaching: Conduct tough but fair conversations with underperforming drivers. You must be comfortable retraining drivers in safety behaviors and offboarding those who do not meet standards.
Operational Compliance (Strict Enforcement): 100% Hour Compliance: Manage scheduling to strictly ensure NO driver exceeds 60 hours/week or 6 consecutive workdays.
Insurance Claims + Administrative deliverables as per operational needs.
Fleet Readiness: Assist with fleet coordination, including vehicle rostering and tracking maintenance to ensure route readiness.
The Ideal Candidate: "The Auditor's Eye"
· Experience: 5+ years in High-Volume Logistics, HR Management, or as an Operations Specialist for a Delivery Service Partner or Parcel and Package Delivery business.
· Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Paycom is highly preferred. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) are required for data analysis.
· Skills:
o Data-Driven: You make decisions based on numbers, not feelings. You can look at a spreadsheet and instantly spot a 15-minute gap that doesn't add up.
o HR Knowledge: Familiarity with labor laws, FMLA, and overtime regulations.
o Leadership: You are "firm but fair." You can command a room of 100 drivers and hold them accountable to high standards without losing their respect.
Why Join AARK Logistics?
· Impact: You aren't just a cog in the wheel; you are the driver of our operational success.
· Growth: We reward efficiency. Help us run a tighter ship, and we will invest in your growth.
· Competitive Salary, Health/Dental/Vision, PTO
To Apply: Submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing a time you improved a team's efficiency or caught a major payroll discrepancy. Speed matters—apply today.
