Operations Intern (AI & Systems)
Sure, the job description says “intern,” but this isn’t about shadowing or busy work. You’ll be stepping into real operational challenges and helping us rethink how the agency works, from systems and data to AI, training and internal tools.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, technology and change management. You’ll help us move from fragmented, legacy systems to a more streamlined, AI-enabled environment, and bring people along in the process.
What you’ll do
- Clean up and improve how we work
- Audit and organize file systems across Egnite and SharePoint
- Identify outdated or redundant content and partner with teams on cleanup and migration
- Support system transitions (e.g., password management, access tools) as needed
- Help rethink and rebuild our intranet into a more intuitive, usable workspace
- Turn repetitive processes into efficient, AI-supported workflows
- Stay on top of emerging trends in AI and share what matters to the team
- Identify opportunities to introduce AI into everyday workflows
- Help build and test new AI-powered processes that improve efficiency
- Support agency-wide adoption by making AI tools and resources approachable and useful
- Create clarity through better knowledge management
- Audit existing training materials (decks, videos, documentation)
- Help consolidate and organize content into a single source of truth
- Bring consistency to how we document and share knowledge across the agency

Compensation Details:
This is a paid internship: $20/hour for approximately 40 hours per week in-person at our Minneapolis office. Interns will earn Sick and Safe Time in accruals based on hours work
