Operations Intern

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, BWC Terminals is a premier provider of bulk liquid storage and logistics services to refiners, manufacturers, and distributors of bulk liquids in North America. The Company consists of 22 sites with over twenty million barrels of storage capacity. The Operations Intern position is based in our Gretna Terminal in Harvey, LA. This internship provides exposure to the terminal operations and safety awareness.

Intern Job Responsibilities:

• Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
• Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
• Engages with leadership and provides support.
• Provide suggestions to management for improving internal processes.
• Learns and becomes knowledgeable on internal software systems.
• Assists in creating reports as directed by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be enrolled in a four-year degree program, preferred.
