Responsibilities

• Assist with stacking, strapping, and binding mine material.
• Assist with building crane mats and cutting wedges.
• Assist with loading, unloading, materials using appropriate machinery to ensure timely processing.
• Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Support waste collection activities by operating garbage trucks or roll-off trucks for proper disposal.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed for material handling and site organization.
• Maintain equipment by performing basic inspections, reporting issues promptly, and ensuring proper usage.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• Prior experience with sawmill equipment is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor consistently throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes or sanitation procedures is a plus.
• Valid certification or licensing for forklift operation is advantageous; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency. Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
