Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Operations & Logistics Assistant to support and streamline the company’s daily operations and logistics functions. This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless coordination across departments, effective documentation, and timely delivery of goods—contributing directly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Support:
- Assist with the execution and coordination of daily operational activities.
- Support the management of AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) for retail outlets located within malls.
- Coordinate project activities involving mall management and third-party contractors.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate operational reports and documentation.
- Compile and submit monthly sales reports to mall management for retail locations.
Logistics Support:
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport companies, and warehouse teams to ensure timely shipping and delivery.
- Prepare and manage all shipping, import, and export documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Track shipments and resolve any delays, customs clearances, or logistics-related issues.
- Maintain organized records of logistics activities and documents for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Liaise with customs officials, freight agents, and other relevant authorities as needed.
- Ensure adherence to UAE import/export regulations and internal logistics policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in operations or logistics (experience within the UAE is preferred).
- Familiarity with logistics procedures, shipping documentation, and regional import/export laws.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an added advantage.
