Operations & Logistics Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Operations & Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team at Trowel Trades. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in our showroom, accurately managing inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of tools and equipment to local jobsites. Your "all-hands-on-deck" approach will help maintain smooth operations across our store, yard, and delivery routes, upholding our high standards as a leading supplier for the masonry and concrete industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in logistics, retail operations, and field support within a fast-paced, active environment.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Sales: Greet walk-in customers and provide expert assistance with the selection and sale of high-end hand tools and equipment.
  • Merchandising & Inventory: Restock showroom shelves and organize tools and accessories to ensure an efficient and professional shopping experience.
  • Yard & Warehouse Logistics: Support yard operations by organizing heavy equipment, including scaffolding and mast climbers, to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Physical Material Handling: Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs, ensuring all inventory is handled safely and placed correctly.
  • Local Deliveries: Operate company vehicles to deliver essential tools and equipment directly to customers and local jobsites.
  • Operational Support: Switch fluidly between store tasks, warehouse organization, and field deliveries based on daily business needs.
  • Punctuality & Reliability: Maintain a consistent schedule, ensuring the Suwanee location is ready for operations promptly at 8:00 AM.

Qualifications

  • Physical Fitness: Proven ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including the repetitive lifting of up to 75 lbs, throughout the workday.
  • Driving Credentials: A valid driver’s license and a clean, safe driving record are required for operating company delivery vehicles.
  • Versatility & Attitude: A positive, high-energy approach with the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks ranging from retail service to manual labor.
  • Industry Interest: An interest in the masonry and concrete industry; experience with tools, scaffolding, or heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Reliability: Strong commitment to punctuality and a professional work ethic to support a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately organize inventory and ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly during deliveries.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
