The Operations Logistics Specialist supports ProtectedLogic Corporation by controlling the receipt, movement, storage, and shipment of materials in accordance with documented requirements.
This role ensures inventory accuracy, configuration traceability, and compliant logistics execution in support of manufacturing, engineering, and customer delivery activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Receive incoming materials, hardware, and documentation; verify quantities, part numbers, revisions, and certification data.
· Coordinate inspection activities and ensure inspection status is clearly identified, recorded, and traceable.
· Execute kitting activities for production, engineering, and test builds, ensuring configuration accuracy and completeness.
· Maintain inventory transaction accuracy, lot traceability, and location control using company-approved tracking systems.
· Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies, shortages, or nonconforming conditions in accordance with quality procedures.
· Schedule, track, and coordinate inbound and outbound material shipments, including customer deliveries and returns.
· Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status, discrepancies, and required logistics documentation.
· Support internal and external AS9100 audits by preparing records, responding to findings, and assisting with corrective actions.
· Transmit, archive, and protect logistics-related digital records in compliance with ITAR/EAR and applicable regulations.
· Operate independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment within defined authority limits.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications· High school diploma or GED (required).
· U.S. citizenship (required under ITAR/EAR).
· Minimum five (5) years of experience in logistics, inventory management, and receiving inspection for aerospace operations.
· Demonstrated working knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent quality management systems.
· Experience with inventory tracking, documentation control, and audit support activities.
· Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
· Compliance with all workplace safety and quality standards (ITAR, OSHA, AS9100).
Preferred Qualifications· Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or related discipline.
· Proven five (5) years of direct experience in a related field accepted in lieu of a degree.
· Prior aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
· Experience supporting customer-facing logistics or program execution.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment· Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.
· Periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and repetitive motion.
· Use of personal protective equipment as required by task or environment.
· Work schedules may include standard or modified shifts based on operational needs.
