What winning looks like:

  • Delivering and developing organic foods that allow people to take charge of their health outcomes.
  • Leading a production team with a strong focus on outcomes; owning day-to-day prioritization and setting direction.
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring team members in food safety, quality, production, and best practices and principles.
  • Continuous communication with team members; supporting team members in hitting individual and team quality standards and goals by helping remove obstacles and solve problems
  • Having a broader impact outside your immediate team by working to continually improve the overall community experience within Blue Mountain Organics
  • Identifying new areas of opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
  • The skills you need to win:
  • Experience in a Production environment ( including food handling experience)
  • Experience leading, nurturing, and managing a function and a team.
  • Familiarity with food safety and quality standards/FSMA/HACCP and understand how it relates to our business
  • A troubleshooting, problem-solving approach and an analytic mind. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and sheets for planning, scheduling, and routine reports and employee metrics. Skilled at understanding metrics management for setting goals and communicating results.
  • Excellent in organization, planning production priorities.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal team members to manage all aspects of shared solutions, including quality, production demands, priorities, and efficiency.

  • COMPENSATION IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION. COMPENSATION WILL INCLUDE A PERFORMANCE BONUS TO REWARD ACHIEVEMENT.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
