As an Operations Manager, you will play an impactful role in leading our Sales Team. You will have the opportunity to develop new ideas and processes as the company continues to grow. The role will focus on helping Sales Account Executives grow their book of business while managing operators simultaneously.

Description

What You’ll Do:

Oversee and support day-to-day operations of the Charleston brokerage team.
Monitor the Sales Account Executives' book of business as needed.
Work directly with the offshore operations support team to support booking and tracking efforts.
Support compliance protocols to ensure continued safety of each shipment.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure targets are met.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize workflow.
Utilize TMS systems for data entry and order processing.

What We Look For:

2+ years of logistics experience (previous experience in the 3PL space is encouraged).
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
Knowledge of transportation sales and carrier negotiations.
Familiarity with TMS software.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
