Position Overview

The Operations Manager will lead our $12M+ Local & Regional Moffett Transportation Division across multiple Florida markets. This role oversees all aspects of division performance — from P&L management and growth strategy to cross-department leadership and customer satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, growing the Owner Operator fleet, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the division consistently meets and exceeds performance goals. This position reports directly to an executive at the corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Oversee all operational departments, ensuring alignment with growth and profitability objectives.
• Define and execute strategies that strengthen Bridgeway’s position in the Florida Moffett trucking market.
• Maintain full P&L accountability and deliver consistent financial performance.

Customer & Market Value

• Engage with existing and prospective customers to identify value drivers and emerging needs.
• Translate customer insights into innovative service offerings and scalable solutions.
• Lead market analysis efforts to stay ahead of competitors and capture new opportunities.

Operational Excellence

• Direct cross-functional teams including Sales, Fleet Management, Recruiting, Maintenance, and Administration.
• Ensure service delivery standards are met on time and within budget.
• Optimize utilization of Moffett equipment, personnel, and fleet resources for maximum efficiency.

Partnerships & Growth

• Forge external partnerships that enhance Bridgeway’s market value and service portfolio.
• Develop trusted relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to scale operations profitably across multiple Florida markets, with a primary focus in growing the Owner Operator fleet.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management experience in transportation, logistics, or truckload operations.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams and driving business growth.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, EBITDA, and ROI performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to travel (approximately 20%).
