Job Summary for Resource Manager:

The Operations/Resource Manager assigns employees to projects based upon their skills, abilities, availability, and performance, to maximize the effectiveness of the project/scope. This position serves as the employees’ primary point of contact regarding training, mobilization, compensation, and assignments, and ensures that all employees are current on training and performance reviews.


Experiences for Resource Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, orequivalentcombination of education and work experience.3 plus years of project management, powergenerationor nuclear industry experience.
  • 2 plus years of managingand developing employees.
  • 2 plus years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Essential Functions for Resource Manager:

  • Assign employees to projects based upon their skills, abilities, availability, and performance to maximize the effectiveness of thecrew
  • Manage field employee’s contracts, vacation, performance evaluations,identifytraining and job assignment, mobilization, and address daily employee needs andrequests
  • Serve as the employees’ primary point of contactregardingtraining, mobilization, compensation, and assignments and resolve concerns orconflicts
  • Recruit prospective employees, manage field personnel. Create and implement productivity metrics.
  • Communicate with Customers to ensure employee availability by analyzing mob/demobilizationplan
  • Reportutilization, bench cost, training, and balanced crew development to drive productivity and reducecost
  • Analyze customer feedback and post-project data todetermineways to improve future customer satisfaction, and resourceutilizationand reducecost
  • Participate in creating recruitment strategies and interviewing candidates tomaintainstrong/effectiveteam
  • Participate in yearly talent development review processes toretaintoptalent
  • Occasional travelrequired
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and after 8-5 businesshours
