Overview

The Operations Manager in Carpentry oversees day-to-day operations of carpentry projects, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality craftsmanship, and timely delivery. This role manages teams, coordinates materials and resources, maintains safety standards, and ensures customer satisfaction while meeting company objectives.

Key Responsibilities1. Project & Workflow Management

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all carpentry projects from initiation to completion.
  • Assign tasks to teams, ensuring optimal labor use and productivity.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct site visits to assess work quality and resolve issues.

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, train, and support carpenters, installers, and labor teams.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve productivity.
  • Manage staffing levels, hiring, and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry operations, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in project management tools and scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.

3. Materials & Equipment Coordination

  • Oversee inventory management of lumber, hardware, tools, and other materials.
  • Coordinate purchasing, vendor relationships, and deliveries.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, safe, and functioning properly.

4. Quality Control

  • Ensure all carpentry work meets company standards and industry regulations.
  • Review plans, blueprints, and specifications for accuracy.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes for craftsmanship and efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
