Operations Manager (For Country Namibia)

Location: Namibia (Country in Southern Africa)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our on-site activities and ensure smooth coordination between teams, government agencies, and local stakeholders.

Position: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all mining operations, including production, processing, logistics, and maintenance.
• Manage site teams, contractors, and support staff to achieve production and safety targets.
• Liaise and maintain positive relationships with government departments, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements.
• Represent the company in community and stakeholder meetings, promoting responsible mining practices and local engagement.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate closely with geology and engineering teams to optimize mine plans and material movement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Report directly to senior management on progress, challenges, and key operational outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4-5 years’ experience in mining operations or plant management.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities in multi-disciplinary environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with authorities and local communities. (English)
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, logistics, and production schedules.
