Job Description: Operations Manager

Qualification: MBA in Finance & Marketing
Location: Hill Road, Bandra (West)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Operations Manager with an MBA in Finance and Marketing to oversee day-to-day operations, streamline processes, manage budgets, and ensure business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, cross-functional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both operational efficiency and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and smooth workflow across departments.
  • Develop and implement SOPs to improve operational performance.
  • Drive cost optimization through process improvements and resource planning.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

2. Financial & Budgetary Management

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor operational budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify variances, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Implement cost-control measures and operational KPIs.
  • Coordinate with finance teams for monthly MIS, P&L review, cash flow planning, and expense tracking.

3. Marketing & Business Growth

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align operational strategies with brand goals.
  • Support implementation of marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer-experience enhancement initiatives.
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior trends to guide strategic planning.
  • Ensure operational readiness for marketing activities, promotions, and events.

4. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
  • Conduct training, performance monitoring, and workforce planning.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement cycles, and SLAs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods/services and maintain quality standards.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for seamless operations.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and present periodic reports on operational performance, KPIs, and financial metrics.
  • Use data analytics to drive decision-making and process optimization.
  • Track ROI on operational initiatives and marketing campaigns.
