Job Summary

The Parking Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of parking facilities to ensure efficient operations, excellent customer service, and compliance with company policies. This role supervises frontline staff, monitors facility performance, and supports the General Manager in achieving operational goals. This role requires a fluent Spanish and English speaking leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations
  • Supervise and coordinate the schedules and operations of parking enforcement officers.
  • Ensure smooth traffic flow, proper signage, and safe conditions across all parking metered areas.
  • Monitor equipment functionality, report and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Staff Management
  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Provide coaching and corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensure staff adhere to uniform and conduct standards.
  • Customer Service
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
  • Promote a positive customer experience through attentive service and clean facilities.
  • Revenue Control
  • Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Conduct audits and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Assist in implementing pricing strategies and promotional programs.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure ADA compliance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain incident reports.
  • Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with local authorities when needed.
  • Reporting & Communication
  • Maintain daily logs, shift reports, and incident documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding operational updates.
  • Participate in regular meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Fluent Spanish and English speaking is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in parking operations or facility supervision.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with parking systems and technology (e.g., PARCS, mobile payment platforms).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
