Operations ManagerPosition Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day operations across the manufacturing plant and head office. The role ensures effective production, quality compliance, timely supply chain activities, and smooth coordination between departments to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Production & Plant Operations
- Oversee daily production activities and ensure targets are met.
- Monitor efficiency, machine utilization, manpower deployment, and process adherence.
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory norms.
- Coordinate with QC/QA for product testing, approvals, and batch release.
2. Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and consumables.
- Monitor stock levels (RM, PM, WIP, FG) and maintain minimum reorder points.
- Coordinate dispatch, logistics, and warehouse operations.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure operations meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal/external audits, documentation, and CAPA implementation.
- Enforce safety, hygiene, and SOP compliance across all departments.
4. Administrative & Team Management
- Manage plant manpower, shift planning, and task allocation.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee attendance, discipline, training, and performance of team members.
5. Coordination with Head Office
- Act as the central communication link between Plant and HO (Purchase, Sales, HR, Finance).
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and MIS dashboards.
- Support management in strategic planning and decision-making.
6. Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Drive cost-saving initiatives in production, utilities, and procurement.
- Lead improvement projects such as 5S, Lean, Kaizen, and process optimization.
- Reduce downtime, wastage, and quality rejections.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5–12 years of experience in operations, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain roles.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, warehouse management, and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multi-tasking, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
