Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly strategic Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our cannabis edible manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading Production, Compliance, Supply Chain, and Operational Planning, while ensuring that the company maintains best‑in‑class quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in food or CPG manufacturing, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to scale operations in a regulated environment. This role is both strategic and hands‑on—requiring someone who can manage teams, build systems, improve processes, and support expansion initiatives across multiple departments. The Director of Operations will work closely with the CEO and COO to drive operational excellence and position TKO Products for continued growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, Production Management, or Manufacturing Leadership, preferably in the cannabis industry.

• 3+ years of experience supervising or developing teams in a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of regulated cannabis operations; DCC compliance experience highly preferred.

• Proven experience with METRC or other seed‑to‑sale track‑and‑trace systems.

• ERP experience required; familiarity with Distru is a major plus.

• Deep understanding of production costing, forecasting, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

• Experience developing and implementing SOPs and operational systems.

• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs as needed in support of production activities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (Monday.com or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational direction across Production, Compliance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Fulfillment teams.

• Partner closely with the CEO and COO on strategic planning, new initiatives, and operational expansion.

• Ensure all operations maintain full compliance with DCC regulations and state/local requirements.

• Oversee production planning, capacity forecasting, and labor allocation to meet daily and weekly targets.

• Resolve material shortages through ERP oversight, supplier coordination, warehouse reconciliation, and proactive planning.

• Own production costing, margin analysis, and risk mitigation for key inputs and materials.

• Develop, refine, and enforce SOPs for all regulated and operational processes.

• Build systems that generate accurate, audit‑ready documentation (batch production records, sanitation logs, training files, COAs, incident reports, etc.).

• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, driving efficiency, quality, and cost reductions across the operation.

• Oversee inventory controls, including stock reconciliation, aging reports, and cycle count programs.

• Manage weekly KPI reporting across production efficiency, fulfillment accuracy, order timeliness, and operational performance.

• Support cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and R&D for new product onboarding and operational feasibility.

• Source and manage vendor relationships, optimizing for quality, cost, and lead time.

• Ensure the facility meets all safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

Rate of Pay: $65,000 – $85,000 / year
