Gold Standard Auctions is a fast-growing national auction house specializing in coins, bullion, and numismatic collectibles. We operate at high daily volume and rely on efficient, disciplined operations to move inventory from intake to sale quickly and accurately.

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily production teams, maintain workflow efficiency, and ensure our photography and data entry departments perform at a consistently high level.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow of the photography and data entry teams. This role ensures that all team members are fully utilized, properly prioritized, and held accountable for productivity, accuracy, and quality.

This is a floor leadership role—you will actively manage people, assign work, solve bottlenecks, and keep operations moving throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Photography Team and Data Entry Team
• Ensure all employees have clear daily assignments and sufficient work at all times
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and throughput across teams
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and reassign resources as needed
• Maintain production schedules and daily output targets
• Motivate team members through clear expectations, accountability, and positive leadership
• Enforce operational standards, procedures, and quality control
• Coordinate with ownership and department leads on priorities and deadlines
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
• Step in as needed to support photography or data entry during high-volume periods

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing teams in an operations, production, warehouse, or office environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable
• Comfortable managing multiple people and tasks simultaneously
• Clear communicator with a calm, professional leadership style
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with photography workflows, data entry, or inventory systems
• Experience setting productivity expectations or KPIs
• Supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
