Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is a key cross-functional leader responsible for end-to-end operations from procurement and production planning to delivery, logistics, and project execution. This role ensures that manufacturing output aligns with quality standards, customer demand, and strategic growth targets. The manager will lead continuous improvement efforts, drive cost efficiency, and deliver operational excellence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supplier Management:

  • Oversee sourcing strategies and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and assembly components to support production.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to manage lead times, costs, and supplier performance.

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and manage master production schedules in alignment with demand forecasts.
  • Balance capacity, labour, and materials to optimize throughput and minimize downtime.
  • Lead daily and weekly production review meetings in accordance with sales demand.

Manufacturing Operations

  • Manage daily shop floor operations, resource allocation, and team performance.
  • Ensure that operations meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Logistics & Delivery

  • Ensure on-time delivery of finished goods to customers or distribution hubs.
  • Coordinate outbound logistics and resolve delivery bottlenecks or transportation issues.
  • Monitor shipping KPIs, customer satisfaction metrics, and third-party logistics (3PL) performance.

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional projects related to capacity and priorities.
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and commercial teams to ensure alignment.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Build and monitor key operational KPIs Dictionary.
  • Unified dynamic dashboards for senior management with data-driven insights and action plans.
  • Drive accountability and continuous improvements actions through structured review processes and dashboards.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including procurement and delivery functions.
  • Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems, planning tools, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
