We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager to manage day-to-day business operations remotely. The ideal candidate will ensure that all teams—sales, inventory, logistics, drivers, loaders, support, and backend—are working efficiently and in coordination.

This role is not limited to sales management. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overall execution, team coordination, process adherence, and regular reporting to upper management.

This role requires someone who understands how real businesses run on a daily basis—not just on paper.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Management (Core Responsibility)

  • Oversee end-to-end daily operations across food delivery and retail business units
  • Ensure smooth functioning of inventory, logistics, drivers, loaders, sales, and backend teams
  • Monitor attendance, task completion, and daily productivity of all teams
  • Ensure operational issues are identified and resolved quickly
  • Ensure all teams follow defined SOPs and workflows

2. Team Management & Coordination

  • Manage and coordinate multiple teams, including:
  • Sales team
  • Inventory executive(s)
  • Drivers and loaders
  • Support and backend teams
  • Assign daily tasks, track progress, and follow up on execution
  • Act as the single point of coordination between teams
  • Support onboarding and basic training of new team members when required

3. Sales Operations (Part of Overall Operations)

  • Monitor sales activities, targets, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure operational support
  • Track conversions and ensure smooth handover between sales and operations
  • Help resolve operational or field issues impacting sales performance

4. Inventory & Logistics Oversight

  • Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock accuracy and availability
  • Monitor dispatch, delivery flow, and driver coordination
  • Ensure timely deliveries and proper workload distribution among drivers and loaders
  • Escalate inventory shortages, delays, or operational risks proactively

5. Reporting & Management Updates

  • Prepare daily and weekly operational reports covering:
  • Team performance
  • Sales updates
  • Inventory and logistics status
  • Operational issues and resolutions
  • Share clear, structured updates with upper management
  • Highlight risks, delays, inefficiencies, or team gaps early
  • Provide actionable recommendations for improvement

6. Process & Performance Improvement

  • Track key operational KPIs across teams
  • Improve efficiency, turnaround time, and coordination
  • Suggest and help implement better processes as the business scales

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in operations management, team coordination, or business operations
  • Experience managing multiple teams, not just sales
  • Understanding of inventory, logistics, and field operations is a strong plus
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage teams remotely
  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, WhatsApp, CRM, or task management tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
